About this deal

This list of ingredients represents all options or variants of this product. Actual ingredients in a given product option may vary from this list. If you use heavier makeup you absolutely have to double cleanse after using it. Since I really don’t think it cleanses that well. As for a first cleanser (using a foam cleanser after) it is enough. It does a Ok job in cleansing my makeup away (I don’t use heavy makeup) and it doesn’t leave any oily residues on my skin. This oil cleanser is able to remove all of the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen from my face just as effectively as the towelette, but in a gentler way that leaves my face feeling less irritated. I think I’ll be replacing my towelettes with this cleansing oil from now on. I’m excited to buy the refill when I’m done with this bottle! Other than having a good safety profile and being quite gentle to the skin it has some other advantages too. It can be used in many types of formulations as it has great thermal stability (can be heated up to 85°C) and works on a wide range of pH levels (ph 3-10).

Our Promise: Kiyoko Beauty guarantees 100% authenticity of all our products and is a trusted partner for Asian Beauty brands. The famous or maybe rather infamous mineral oil. The clear oily liquid that is the "cheap by-product" of refining crude oil and the one that gets a lot of heat for its poor provenance. It is a very controversial ingredient with pros and cons and plenty of mythsaround it. So let us see them:Our intro did get pretty big after all (sorry for that), so let's get to the point finally: sunflower oil - similar to other plant oils - is a great emollient that makes the skin smooth and nice and helps to keep it hydrated. It also protects the surface of the skin and enhances the damaged or irritated skin barrier. Leslie Bauman notes in Cosmetic Dermatology that one application of sunflower oil significantly speeds up the recovery of the skin barrier within an hour and sustains the results 5 hours after using it.

I brought this after seeing recommendations for it everywhere. It really does live up to the hype, I’ve used it for a week now and it does a great job at breaking down makeup and buildup and my skin does not feel dry after. Effective from as low as 3% with even more benefits for dry skin at higher concentrations up to 20-40% Not only a simple moisturizer but knows much more: keeps the skin lipids between our skin cells in a healthy (liquid crystal) state, protects against irritation, helps to restore barrier It’s pretty much the current IT- preservative. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben. It's also loaded with fatty acids(mostly linoleic (50-74%) and oleic (14-35%)). The unrefined version(be sure to use that on your skin!) is especially high in linoleic acid that is great even for acne-prone skin. Its comedogen index is 0, meaning that it's pretty much an all skin-type oil.I don’t use heavy makeup very often, but I do use light cover foundation or BB cream, blush, mascara and eye brow products. And what I normally would do is that I remove my eye makeup first with an eye makeup remover first and then I use the oil cleanser for my face. This product does claim to remove eye makeup as well. But I really don’t think it is very effective in doing this. Here were a few things that made Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil more appealing than other facial cleansing oils I was briefly considering: Mother Nature also created wax esters but for a totally different purpose. Chemically, a wax ester is a fatty acid + a fatty alcohol, one long molecule. Wax esters are on the outer surface of several plant leaves to give them environmental protection. 25-30% of human sebum is also wax esters to give uspeople environmental protection. Rice bran oil is rich in nutritents like gamma-oryzanol, which is an antioxidant. Gamma-oryzanol and other compounds in rice bran could help fight UV-related damage.

Jojoba is a drought resistant evergreen shrub native to South-western North America. It's known and grown for jojoba oil, the golden yellow liquid coming from the seeds (about 50% of the weight of the seeds will be oil). It seemed like a good option for me, and would possibly be a bit more eco-friendly than using a disposable makeup-removing towelette every night. Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil is really lightweight and it is a really nice cleansing oil to use. But that doesn’t mean that I love it. Without further ado, let’s explore the ingredients in this facial cleansing oil. Kose Softymo Speedy Facial Cleansing Oil Ingredientspeg-8 glyceryl isostearate: an emulsifier that helps mix the water and oils in this formula together It’s a real oldie: expressed directly from the seeds, the oil is used not for hundreds but thousands of years. According to The National Sunflower Association, there is evidencethat both the plant and its oil were used by American Indians in the area of Arizona and New Mexico about 3000 BC. Do the math: it's more than 5000 years – definitely an oldie. You should try Beauty Of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil because it cleanses makeup well, doesn’t leave a film and is appropriate for dry skin as its not stripping Emollient plant oil coming from the seeds of Sesame. Contains high amounts of nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids (about 38% of oleic 48% of linoleic acid).

It doesn’t contain coconut oil, which breaks me out. The aforementioned Burt’s Bees facial cleansing oil also contains coconut oil. Plus, I hate the smell of coconut oil. It’s fragrance-free. One other option I was considering, Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Oil, contained fragrance. Use as the first step in your double cleansing routine. Apply 1-2 pumps to clean palms massage into skin. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow up with your preferred water-based cleanser.
