About this deal

For exceptional stability and safety add 2 or 4 outriggers to your 4m or 5m tower and in doing so increase the towers footprint further giving rock solid stability for the ultimate in user confidence. The towers we supply are safe and secure if installed correctly and fully comply with PASMA guidelines.

The tower is available in four sizes and also comes with 4 wheels and outriggers (fixed outriggers with the 4m and 5m towers and telescopic outriggers on the 6m and 7m). New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . What you see is what you get with our tower range- often you have to pay extra for platforms, wheels etc. For low level stuff they are much safer than a ladder for working at height, say an upstairs window -working for any length of time on a ladder will encourage leaning out too far.As with all equipment 'think safety' is vital and take care when using , but I won't go up the ladder again after using this! The timber infill to the platforms (and the trap) is fixed to the platform and what gives it its weight. The Home Master DIY scaffold tower is one of the easiest to set up that I have ever gotten my hands on.

At height they can also be a bit scary assembling or taking apart -at some point you will be working with no guard rails. The GDA500 single width Scaffold Towers extend to heights of 8m platform height and 10m working height, giving you easy access to areas at those heights. Mine does have a heavy bracing base, which requires spanners to dismantle, the castors add more weight, the rest is lightweight alloy. The second, and the most important in my opinion, is the maximum height of the standing platform, which is usually a couple of metres lower.

I can easily get close enough to use loppers and a trimmer on the conifers - depends how conical you prefer your conifers I suppose. Our World class designs embody quality, safety, durability and flexibility – each model accommodating a wide range of working heights. We also carry a comprehensive range of spare parts for this tower in case of loss of components etc. I have also looked at those really high folding step ladder type things - but they seem even less flexible.

Whilst this is not obvious when first looking, it will be an issue when working on the tower - we have seen this for ourselves!

If the tower has the stabiliser bars attached, instead of the wheels, the tower can be used without outriggers, up to the 5m working height. The fourth lift (which is not recommended) I occasionally use alongside the gable wall for accessing the satellite dish, etc, is always tied into that gable wall and the other two stabilisers used.I also used the pictures from the flyer a lot but it would be nice to have an IKEA type booklet to refer to? Ideal for use in the garden or inside the house; the tower is easy to build and can be moved by tilting back and pushing on its transport wheels. The tower is always climbed internally – ‘Through The Trapdoor’ (3T compliant) which is then lowered to form part of the platform.
