But with all that said, I would be hard pressed to name many other perfumes that offer such bang for the buck, with a handful of exceptions - looking at you, Blue Silk by AP! The vanilla is wound around the whole fragrance, and it's sweet and boozy but not cloying or overpowering. One of the few very sweet fragrances that I do not find cloying, though over spraying could make this obnoxiously garish.

I do love this scent though and despite it being launched in 1992, there is something timeless, elegant and comforting about this perfume. It’s still spicy vanilla coconuts and fruit all mixed up together and for me it’s warm, comforting, classy, and addictive.I waited for the dry down, I did, but it only evolved into fruity engine oil, before finally disappearing in less than 2 hours. There's an underlying scent to this that I cannot place, except to say that its something along the lines of oil - as in engine oil, or something an artist would use. This scent reminds me of vanilla fields… it smells like smoking cigarettes during off campus lunch in high school and it’s reminiscent of the album ‘In Utero’ by Nirvana… this smells more like the 90’s vanilla fields than the current vanilla fields and smelling this has me in disbelief that this was nearly 30 years ago. This is definitely not a gourmand, so don't get it if you are looking for an edible, dessert-like vanilla- this isn't it!

When I wear this, people are super kind and attracted to me, and I only had positive experiences with it. I sprayed it once on the edge of my bed and I am sat in the middle of the bed with my back turned- the fruitiness smells lovely.This mini was her apology in taking so long…and I gotta say…NOPE…don’t love it, it’s not even a like. Examining the I don’t know if my body chemistry contributed to that or not but I got an insane amount of compliments pretty much from everybody: friends, coworkers, strangers, women and man, young and old. i keep getting sniffs of something i don't like though, which i cant figure out, but i will keep trying as i'm glad at least i can smell it now! A scent to be worn on dark autumn and winter evenings, or, since I do like it very much, on a fresh spring day (I am weird, I know).
