About this deal

Also immediately after they got married, Things were a mess. They would say one thing but do another and think another. Both of them got confused and then they started confusing ME! The Bad: The drama was so OTT it was ridiculous. The h being a doormat and the H being so dang confusing. So this is a dual POV that follows Ares and Raven. Ares is the eldest son of this very wealthy family and the CEO of a media production company. Raven is a gorgeous supermodel and fashion designer. Raven also happens to be in love with Ares, even though he happens to be her best friend's brother and her sister's fiance. Ares's family has a tradition that all the members of the Winston Family have an arranged marriage, and when Raven's sister gets cold feet, the wedding has to happen one way or another and Raven ends up walking down the aisle... Heat level: Good. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.

OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: Yes the h's sister causes major drama throughout the book and the H is jealous of OM that the h is around the 4th red flag was him being in love with her sister all of those five past years and then suddenly fall in love with her a couple chapters into the book and saying it has always been her 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I can’t tell you about the whole story as it will spoil your fun. So read this by yourself (you can get it for free). I’ll tell you how – How To Get The Wrong Bride by Catharina Maura pdf? The H…so beta he makes doodlebugs look like bugs of steel. His grandmother tells him to marry so marry he does. OW slithers out so in comes the heroine. Vows celibacy and devotion to the h only to have OW show up with tears in her eyes so he takes her to dinner….THE NIGHT AFTER THE WEDDING! He is faithful, but the evil OW has his number. He's a nice guy in general, and thinks he loves the heroine. Bizarre turnaround at the end and after all the sister's machinations come out he declares he never ever loved her so what's the deal?

It was one of those story’s that fortunately captured the romantic in me… it was cute, with a good story. Plus Angsty-aaannnndddd … I forgot to mention; very sexy indeed (smiling) 🥰 Despite knowing that she loves her sister, Raven marries Ares only hoping not to break up in the process. Despite the simplified synopsis, this book is anything but simple. Ms. Maura had written characters who are genuinely villainous, selfless, and understandably confused when faced with their new future. Ares is understandably caught between two sisters and facing a new bride, while Raven’s own future is in jeopardy if she doesn’t agree to marry Ares. Push/Pull: Yes the h pushes away a good bit and I'd say the H is the main pursuer of the relationship Ares and Raven (I love their names) were one power couple. So many obstacles and through it all they worked for their relationship, compromised and stood united. From day one of their marriage of convenience they decided to communicate with each other, what may come. I loved that.

Oh, and not to mention, was recently possessed by god-knows-what, into saying yes to helping her close friend get married to the love of her life. The Grandmother aka Puppet Master who not only directs which heroine hooks up with what hero, but makes outrageous demands…more later on her. Despite how everyone adores her, her demands may make her the most villainous of all. The only good thing about this book was that Raven did not stay celibate and mop and wait around for him, and she was with other men, hence her being the other woman in Bittersweet Memories. The story starts with Raven, a gorgeous top model and a part of the Windsor family because of Sierra (her best friend). Likewise with Ares though he was honourable, assured and supported Raven each and every time after their marriage, I couldn’t forget that he loved, was engaged and was intimate with Raven’s sister before. There was so MUCH memories and things between them, that was witnessed by the heroine. I can’t say more without spoiling. But Grandma Winsor is tired of her shit, so she is like, the wedding will take place even if you don’t come. They all expected Hannah to come on the wedding day, but they were all mistaken. She doesn’t come, and then Raven and Ares have to get married. Hannah– she is a top actor who cares only about her career. She is her mother’s favorite, and they try to make Raven feel the worst together. When he had to marry the heroine, he suffered, because of her sister, that she left him, but then abruptly fell out of love with her and realized that he had loved the heroine all this time. I can't stand such a hero, for me it's worse than non-compliance with celibacy! 😡 For five years, Ares and Hannah have been in a relationship, and they push off their wedding three times because Hannah is a top actor. She never told the public about her relationship with Aries. When they decided to marry the fourth time, she went to Ares and told him to push off the wedding again because doing films was more important to her.
