Anyone have thoughts about how to replicate that on the spacer pad, or whether I could skip it? Bought this as replacement for the badly fitted original pad on my Franchi precision S Falconet 12/76 Shotgun. The present is 100% solid so anything will be an improvement. The recoil can certainly be tolerated, but on the red letter days a reduction in recoil would be great.
